Members and Guests are always welcome at the "Club that has Fun". If you would like to know more about joining Lions, call one the Lions above, or send us an e-mail for more information. As a result of the funds raised at the recent Spring Fair the club was able to pay for the sponsorship of a new car for the Blue Nursing Service. The vehicle will be used by the nurse's to call on patients in our area. The club now owns a fully lockable box Trailer which houses all the BBQ Equipment. The club is well known for it's many Sausage Sizzles in the community and is a great fund raiser for the community. One of the main beneficiaries of the clubs fund raising is the local Ambulance, with many pieces over life saving equipment being purchased over the years since the club was formed.
As a result of their fund raising, the club has also purchased two expensive Dialysis Machines for use by patients at the Princess Alexandria Hospital in Brisbane. These units have already been used by local people in our community. |
